About

Hi, Im David Woodford the author of this blog.  I am to give some observations about the recessions and the UK governments response to it. In doing so I hope to be critical of their policies and outline any problems that I see as well as explaining their likely effects without being politically biased (ie I wont say cuts are bad if labour suggests then but good if conservatives do etc). However it may be useful to note that I do not support the labour government or their policies for the recession and find they way most politicians deal with economics annoying.

This blog should be easily readable for all audiences but I wont hesitate to outline theories that I learnt in GCSE and A level studies of the subject -  though full explanations will be included. I wont act like a politician saying a certain policy is right because “it is” or another is bad because the opposition suggested it and not give full explanations of the likley effects

I have studied Economics to A level where I achieved a grade A with a score of 580/600 and full UMS in half the exams and I am now studying a maths degree at the University of Bath.
